Two weeks

Almost two weeks I haven’t shown my works in my blog. I was really occupied with my new friend. But now it’s not time to talk about her. I have few new things to share.

Here is some works I did not long ago, maybe few weeks back but I didn’t have time to photograph them. And so the first one is: my school uniform. It was so plain and dull and most of all I was afraid for it to get mixed with other persons. So I toke some precautions and I added a hexagon:

Now I don’t think I will mistake my uniform with theirs.

One more thing is that when Christmas is coming I’m finishing some pillows for my moms’ birthday. They had to be done months ago, but only now I got enough inspiration. And like that I am doing many projects at the same time and I don’t seem to get enough motivation to finish them. But these pillows won’t dress up by themselves:

And so I plan to finish 5 of 8 before Christmas or New Year at least . Well I hope I will. But still I can not forget the presents. This year I really tried hard with handmade gifts. And this is what I made:

A drawstring bag from Jeni Baker’s tutorial. And I put a lot of walnuts in it. It was a simple gift, but it was made with my love.

The next one is gathered clutch. I made three of them. Using this tutorial. One I made as an example and so it was left for me. The other two I gave away with something sweet inside :)

And it's impossible not to share a photo of my friend:

Painting of shells and rocks

I thought I wouldn’t be able to make it. But I still have some time until the end of this week. And so here is one of my old works. This time a painting made with my decoration with natural materials techniques:

I made it out of shelves and rocks and of course - rope. Rope is essential in my works. I love working with it. It adds some nice effects. And I can say that with more years of practice I get more nice works done.

This painting was born by idea to use rocks that I brought from Italy, when I was in one of my journeys with my dad. And this painting turned out great. :)

Bead balls going around: eyeglass case

My shoes were not enough for my bead balls, so they decided to occupy my eyeglass case. I use it very often and probably they got jealous:

I was trying to retake my case, but it took longer than I thought....

But soon they left on their own. Probably because they found a bigger challenge: a pumpkin. :)

Decoration with natural materials

So as I mentioned it’s time for this weeks past works post. And so here it is:

In my post I mentioned a little of a new technique. Well new for me, I haven’t seen them anywhere else on blogs. If you have, please tell me. I would love to meet someone who is doing same work as I. Actually I don’t have any idea on how to name this technique or works that I’m doing. But these are my first touches to art. I began doing them when I was 11 years old. By time I improved my techniques. And so here I’m going to talk about these kinds of things:

  • What materials I’m using.

Materials are: rope, natural grains (buckwheat, lens, rice and many more), shells, broken car machine glass (because this kind of broken glass doesn’t cut fingers that much and even small children can use it), and anything else you could think to put on a bottle or look beautiful on a painting.

  • And how to do the decorations
Decorating is not rally that hard. You just have to put some glue and then place your materials. For small pieces I use tweezers.

What's important is that there will never be the same bottle or a painting. Because no one can copy your work it's really unique.
For me maybe it is simple, but if you unclear please consult with me. I’ll gladly help you.

And here is one of my first works:

I made it out of quince seeds and some paints for glass decoration.

And this is how it turned out.
I guess not many things to say it’s just that I love it and I can’t wait to share more of my works. :)
