This weekend

This weekend I did a lot of homework.

I understood that if I want to have free weekends and some time to craft I had to do my homework each day that it is given. But to do that I have to do upcoming weeks homework. There was so much that I managed to finish half of it. That means next week will be less stressfula! And probably even some free time!So there were no crafting for me. But still I had to eat. So I made buckwheat tucked pepper.

It turned out delicious. Tomorrow I'm making more! Also these past few days I am really into fruit cocktails. Banana, apple, water is my favorite combination so far.

So this weekend was really productive. A lot of things done, food tasted. :)

Best wishes, Dovile

Wallet that I remade

How fast does the time flow? Because it seem that not long ago I posted about my thrift finds. Well it was yesterday... So since I don't have a lot of time. It's time to go to sleep because otherwise I'll be a zombie tomorrow. And so today I just decided to jump in quickly to share one of my old projects.

Front of the wallet
Few years back I remade a wallet. It was my sister and she threw it away. Probably because it wasn't in a good shape. But for me it was a good thing, I actually could redo it and make it unique. Since it was original pink I decided to use pink fabric. And not to get it dirty I used dark brown. For the pattern I choose hexagons. Actually it was my first time using them. And I fell in love with them immediately. It's seen in my other projects.

Back of the wallet
I'm happy how it turned out. I was really proud to take it out in the store or market.

For now I'm succeeding my plan to post more recently. And I'm proud of myself for that.

Have a nice day, Dovile

Thrift finds

It's been quite a long time. But moving to another city and starting collage was quite difficult for me. But not in a bad way. I'm quite interested in the things I have for homework. The bad thing is that I have less time to craft, relax, blog. But I hope to get into the routine and find some time.
And since I'm in a new city I decided to go and have some thrift time. And I found something very interesting. First is the bunny. A playboy pillow bunny. I'm not fond of it, but my sister has pillow covers with this bunny. And a good friend of mine like it. So it wont stay with me for too long.

One more thing I found was four forks. They are in quite bad shape, but I like their handles. It's like there's some air in them. They look really unique and interesting. And I am hist in love with them.

I really enjoy what I bought and I hope to update my blog every few days. I can't promise that I will, because anything can happens in life, but I'll try my best.

Have a nice day,
Dovile

2014 summer. Journey with my Dad.

Every year I go on a journey. Always only with my Dad. That's because we go from his work. He transports cars in Europe. And he took me to one of his journey. Since it was my sixth journey with him I wasn't expecting to see something amazing. Well we can't go into some nice cities or visit tourist sites and etc. because we're not allowed.(our car was too heavy to go in some nice city) But I still wanted to travel a bit. I was away for a week and I did have some nice sightseeing. And I even managed to take some nice photos.

Well this journey might have been not the very best, but I still managed to have some good time with Dad and rest from everyday life.

Have a nice journey, Dovile :)

Dreams are coming true

How is everyone? I hope your life is going better and better. Just like mine.
This summer was probably the most important in my life. I was finishing school, having exams. I'm so happy I passed all of them. And to my surprise with some good marks. And I finished school. One more thing that happened this summer was that I got into a college, that I adored for years and wanted to get in. And in September I will start studying interior design. For years I dreamed about about this kind of opportunity and now it's real. A month has passed since I got accepted to collage, but only now I'm starting to realize what's happening. One more big news is that I'm moving to capital. Out of my home. Away from my parents and places that I know. But that doesn't scare me at all. I actually can't wait to go. I want to live in that big city and have as much fun and activities as I can get. :)

So for now the next few days I'll be packing. But still tomorrow I plan to share this summers journey.

Hope to see you tomorrow :)
Have a nice day, Dovile
